Super Bowl Commercial Contest

Godaddy is known for their Super Bowl commercials. You may love them and you may not. However now you can send them your commercial, with a March 19th deadline. There are prizes such as a Dell desktop, a Sony camcorder and more.

Try to beat their commercials, should be fun. Some of you may have amazing video skils. Others may just have funny outrageous ideas. Either way, I cannot wait to see the contestants.

GoDaddy signs with Hendrick Motorsports

GoDaddy inked a contract to be the primary sponsor of Hendrick Motorsports’ No. 5 Chevrolets in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series for 2010. The contract includes having the GoDaddy logo on the hood of Mark Martin’s race car for 20 races. GoDaddySaves.Me by GoDaddy

#1 domain registrar Go Daddy announced the launch of GoDaddySaves.Me. The new site is an online savings network that allows members to save money with retailers across the web. I think GoDaddy sees the revenue potential as an affiliate network, having been a member of CJ and running its own program for the past few years with domain coupons and web hosting plans

GoDaddy SuperBowl 43 Commercial

godaddy_video GoDaddy always creates potential commercials and posts them on their site. I saw three GoDaddy commercials for Superbowl forty three, 2009. I could have missed one, but I did not want to. They are always interesting.

The commercials that they say are banned are always posted on YouTube and other video sites as well as the GoDaddy site. Whether or not they are actually “banned” or that is just a marketing effort to get you to watch them, doesn’t really matter as they are brillant. Very funny commercials that unfold as a story, not really pitching their product, just getting your attention. Here is on of the banned superbowl 43 commercials:

GoDaddy’s domains, hosting, and other services sell them selves. And honestly domains as well as webhosting is a little boring, but it is like a reliable car. You want it to work, work right and never have a problem. That you are virtually assured of with GoDaddy, and that is the point. You have a site to run, or a business to run, and the last thing you want to worry about is your hosting company and whether you will have site issues.

GoDaddy Offers over 50 Domain Name Extensions

godaddy logo
If you are like me you can probably recite only a handful of domain extensions. Off the top of my head I can come up with eight: .com .net .edu .gov .info .tv .ca .eu. That is pathetic considering how many domain extensions are available.

It is amazing to think that if you cannot find the domain name with your preferred extension, there are two choices. Either choose a new domain name, add more letters or a dash etc., or on the other hand you could simply choose another domain extension. GoDaddy offers over fifty domains, here is a list:
