The Walgreens near my house closed down a couple of years back, and I thought my days of shopping at Walgreens were done. But I recently discovered that even though they’ve closed down a lot of their physical locations, they’ve still got all their same merchandise up and running on their web site. I would have never thought I’d find myself doing online shopping from Walgreens, but they have all the same deals that they had in the store and it makes sense. Right now they are offering some great deals which can be accessed using one of these Walgreens Coupons.

They have special offers for all kinds of merchandise, from contact lenses to energy bars. But the sale that’s most enticing to me is the sale on allergy medication. They have special discounts for name brand anti-histamine allergy medicine including Claritin, Zyrtec and Allegra. When allergy season hits (right about now, actually) the only thing that brings me relief is Zyrtec. It’s over the counter now, but it’s still a name brand medication and it can be so expensive. Actually I was better off when it was a prescription drug, because then I would just have to provide an insurance co-pay. But now I have to pay full price, so I’ll take any opportunity to get a savings on my Zyrtec fix.
